It's close, the season of Tribal Footie and Clubcall Sports posting lies and us getting anxious over relegated club's player of the season taking beards to sign.

You can almost smell the discontent at Kenwright when we havent smelt a trillion by June, and those who screamed for Koumas, Smith & Nugent who are happy to keep it down now. In a nutshell: Melt Season.

Anyway, Ive been having thoughts of getting the oblonged face long haired galute, Bullard from Fulham.

I'd take Koumas on loan. He'd be a good squad player and can play left, right and centre. Moyes obviously rates him as he's tryed to sign him twice. Technically he's good and can pick out a pass. Needs to work on his consistency though.

If we could get him in on loan as back up for the likes of Pienaar and Arteta then we wouldn't have to pay nothing and we could concentrate on spending money on centre midfield and right back.

We do only have two wide players at the club in Pienaar and Arteta. Osman is now a centre mid and Van der Meyde isn't going to be used so where a little light there.

heard a lot of good said about bullard,re commitment, attitude, etc
he never missed a minute for the pie-eaters in about 3 years, always keen to play..would turn out for both 1st team and reserves if asked or given the opportunity. they say he's the model pro. never really taken much notice of his game though, coleman obviously saw something there and it was only the fact that he broke his peg that he was out.

He's a tryer really with a decent passing range. I'd take Fernandes and Osman over him any day of the week. Decent player but he's nearly 30 and we need to be looking at better central midfielders in my opinion.

I remember a couple of absolute whoppers on an Everton related forum that i used in the past banging on about how they could see Nugent was a fantastic player with limitless ability, and how DM was shortsighted in not signing or declaring an interest in his services , how i look back and snigger at their protestations when he eventually signed for Portsmouth, as Chico correctly declared, melts everywhere, but these two were and are a pair of king - sized beauts .

And as for Koumas coming here, [Poor language removed] that .

Nugent, Koumas and Barton, all in by pre season, otherwise BK and DM OUT
