It will come mate. My point really was that we signed him for say 45k per week on a 5 year contract. Year 1 is successful so we have our monies worth thus far. He is on a 5 year contract so we should be in no rush to bump him up to 100k per week yet as that would cost us 55k per week more. Let him know that we will discuss a contract improvement at end of season and then offer him the big money if he is still producing. He will still have 3 years on his contract before negotiation. We hold the cards here and a business would promise but delay as long as it could before offering the bumper deal therefore saving 1m or 2m in wages. Time is on our side and I am sure we will tie him down to a new deal unless a massive offer from a big club comes in.
Know where you’re coming from mate. But then if I’m his agent, I’m already shopping him around other interested clubs and there will be, getting an idea of what they can pay and turning my clients head.
I then have a portfolio of clubs I can present, with better terms then Everton to a player becoming increasingly unhappy and Everton have said we’l check in at the end of the season as we hold all the cards - what would you do!!!
Clubs actively look for players of Ndiaye’s profile, brilliant player, poorly paid, let’s turn his head and unsettle him - throw in a bit of European football!
Not sure we have all the leverage to be honest.
no need for the ' after the N. Carry on.
