2025/26 Iliman Ndiaye

So do I, tbh.

That'll happen.

If I were a CL club I'd just be wondering though whether he's a bit too much of a ball hogger or whether, with the pressure of winning stuff, he'd tailor his game and find a balance between those maizey runs and laying the ball off.
Ball hogger is crazy. Never has anyone around him to link up with and is clearly under instructions from the manager to run at goal every time he gets the ball.

Even if that were true, as if that would put off CL clubs haha. Chelsea payed money for Garnacho who's twice as greedy and not half as talented.

0/10 ragebait, try harder.

The state of this post

I've never been able to understand how fans form bonds and attachments with players. I respect a few who have done all they could for decades for us like Mick Lyons and Seamus Coleman, but Il' never see players as anything other than 'hands' that are here to do a job.

My only concern where Ndiaye and Gueye are concerned is that this saga doesn't affect them doing their best for their employers - Everton.

Never shy in forming hatred though, eh?

Controversial take here, but: I'm not sorry they lost their trophy. I'm not arsed either way, tbh.

Our two Senegal's have been wandering round doing practically f.a. and playing at a 'fun' / leisurely pace since coming back from AFCON. Even that shot by Gueye against Burnley was one of those training ground hit and hope shots when he should have been laying it off.

Maybe this refocus's them and gives them some incentive to play in Europe.

This was absolutely not what you posted. You now make it sound like anyone else that goes on international duty.

Already backtracking

No, its entirely consistent. I said I dont care either way if they get to keep their trophy or not nd that only their mindset to give Everton 100% is important.

I also have no idea what my post has to do with "fans forming bonds and attachments with players"

You made a ridiculous statement.

I responded that your statement was utterly ridiculous.

Barry’s had more leeway then most players of over the last 20 years. Shouldn’t have even started a game this season yet fans were happy to play him over Beto.
Not from you. You have pretty much consistently said "can we just admit the Barry experiment has failed" in almost every game he's played this year.

That's entirely consistent with me then saying..."My only concern where Ndiaye and Gueye are concerned is that this saga doesn't affect them doing their best for their employers - Everton."

If you cant see the consistency there then...
