He hadn’t been playing well for Everton in the previous eighteen months before he went!
Still much better than anything we’ve had since and I think 18months is a stretch, no one really excelled under FSW did they? Anyway I’d still love to have seen him with Ndiaye, but I guess we disagree there.

Benitez was only here six months, and Digne was poor before the ex Liverpool manager came here. The way Ndiaye has been playing I think he could play with anyone and I think he has been a better defender than Mylolenko when the two of them have been on the field together.

I never understood how and why we let him go?

Are we going to Everton him? I really hope not, but struggle to think of players we didnt Everton in some way. I hope he resists.

I think if you're 24 and your career is basically one good season in the championship and then a quite poor one at a french club who want to get rid of you then you'll take whatever premier league move you can get and not worry too much about who the manager is. Ndiaye and Lindstrom are players who are quite lucky to get a move to a premier league club at this stage we aren't helping ourselves if we're going to make out that they're the answer to all our prayers and anyone but Dyche would build the team around them.
Not really fair on JimmyK as there were plenty other negative posts after he was signed, but it does show the folly of making snap judgements.
