If you were David Moyes, who would you buy?

Nuri Sahin (Loan)

Madrid want to loan the player out, but it seems Arsenal and Liverpool only want to take him on loan if an option to buy deal is in place. I'd happily have him on loan at Everton just for the year and if it worked out maybe he would want to stay (Risk worth taking for that kind of quality). Phil Neville had a great game on Monday night but we arent always going to have to press and defend, we've missed having a playmaker of Sahins quality since Arteta left.

Kyle Naughton 2M?

How long does he have left on his contract?

Royston Drenthe

Yep.

Holtby can't sit deep enough.

Sorry but where did I mention Holby? Ive never seen the lad play EVER so wouldnt mention him

The fact is if Moyes wants to play Fellaini as the AM we know he likes to play two DM which will be Johnny/Gibson or Neville/Gibson

I wouldnt want Johnny or Neville in midfield to be honest so would love to see another CM come

Disten can play LB

If Fellaini is going to be playing as the AM we need another CM

Phil can also cover for LB as well, i agree about getting another CM in, maybe a defensive one like Yann M'villa, but he is worth around 14 million so maybe a cheaper version of him.

That Debuchy lad Newcastle have been steaming off for ages would be my pick, even if it cost the whole £6.7m.

We're a boss right back away from having an extremely well balanced starting eleven, and I actually think we've got more strength in depth elsewhere than most give us credit for. If he's not available I'd even have a think about flashing me knickers at Kyle Naughton again. Could still turn out to be a player, him.

If Naughton signed (I doubt he'd cost much more than £2-3m) I'd make enquiries about some of the league's less appreciated but nonetheless decent center mids. I reckon we could need cover there, with Rodwell and Cahill both gone. I'm talking about players like David Vaughan, Leon Britton, Stuart Holden. Players who could put a shift in in the absence of Fellaini or Gibson, and would likely see playing for us as the peak of their careers.

Anything left over I'd try to loan a back-up striker. No particular names come to mind, but even a Stracqulursi type would give us some valuable cover.

Attacking midfielders that we have

- Kevin Mirallas
- Stephen Naismith
- Magaye Gueye
- Steven Pienaar
- Leon Osman
- Ross Barkley

Left Backs

- Leighton Baines
- Luke Garbutt (no experience)
- Phil Neville (come on guys)

Yeah..

We need to sort out that left side of the defence

Baines rarely misses any games though. Distin is solid enough in that position and as you say Neville can also fill in there. Not a priority for me.

Yep.

I like the above.

I'd bring in an overlapping right back on loan and Ever Banega to play alongside Gibson.
Can tackle, distribute, create, has composure, tireless midfielder. I'd happily sell if he wanted to come.

That's who I'd get as well, if possible.
I still fully expect we'll get someone in that hardly anyone has heard of and he'll be boss (maybe)
