If I could whisper in my younger self's ear I think I'd just avoid football altogether. Why invest so much interest into a sporting tradition that will be sold out to become a predictable pantomime of sky brands.

Hometown and family club is Man U out of that choice. We had Kendal and a rs European ban that drove him away, Man U got Ferguson who filled the void we left.
