Travel in the past or in the future which would you pick?

You would be a floating entity, so no risk to your life. You could just witness events, you couldn't be involved in any way.

Maybe to narrow it down a bit, you have the option to travel into any point in history but only up to 2000 years in the future.

Would be great to go back to see some historic moments, even to see how the Earth began... but would you prefer to see what happens long after your dead?

I'd like to go forward, which in theory is possible given a fast enough space craft. One worry might be that the world is destroyed by some cataclysmic event such as nuclear war, an asteroid etc, etc. I arrive and there isn't much to see. But still, to see how thing pan out in, say, the year 4000 would be amazing. Would it be better, worse or more or less the same? What sort technology would these future people have? Or would humankind cease to advance? Would it go backward and be more akin to the dark ages or, worse, to the stone age? It's fascinating and thought provoking. What will become of us?

I'd do a Back to the future and get that sports statistics book so I can become a millionaire without having to lift a finger :D

I'd like to go back in time to stump up the extra rent that was demanded of us ,then the RS would never have been spawned.

Id go back in time on a tour of all the geat times I missed Like Mr Deans 60 goals the 1931-33 run promotion ,champsthen cup winners then I would wtch the 1950 final and laugh at the R/S thenwith all the cash I had made betting on the results buy Liverpool and run them into the ground.:lol:(y)

If I was going back I would certainly pay a visit to ancient Rome to attend one of the many decadent orgies that those guys seem to have hosted so well. :P

I'd go back and pay the rent at Analfield. Then LFC would not exist. Saying that though that means all the telly reds would be telly blues?? mmmm toughie this, no deffo go back, get the back to the future book, buy LFC for £500m of Gillet & Hicks and run the club into the ground. Then buy Everton and Keep them in the City (not being controversial am I?)

Can I come with you? I'll pay for the petrol:)

Have to say I'd also like to see what that Hungarian team were like in the early 50s and the Real Madrid team a few years later

If i couldnt actually change anything and could just observe i'd go forward to find out when and how i die.

Dying doesn't bother me, its the not knowing when or if its gonna hurt that sucks. And if i knew exactly how long i had left i'd now how long i had to do stuff and how much time i had to waste.

I'd go back in time and put the "New Posts" button back up on the main menu bar across the top.
