Thanks , Death' , - there's a sentence I never thought I'd say - . Perhaps it's an age thing .

On your last point , I don't think the ambition one cuts it , either . Though , I admit to being possibly , a , niave , and b , bitter . His profile , incidentally , is now higher coz , a ; Jags is injured , b , the media protracted saga we have jjust witnessed .
Again , I refer to exhibit #1, M'Lud . Droghba at Wembley .

Are you saying i'm old

I'm actually starting to get pissed off with teh word ambition being trotted out all over thr place these days, just doesn't really mean alot these days.

Its easy to have "ambition" when you've got a never ending pit of money.

Lets just say Lescott took a gamble that he will play in bigger more important games at a club with a never ending pot of money then one without a pot to piss in or window to throw it out of.

And once he is playing in those games (and more than likely right now) he is more likely to get picked for the England squad then at us. Capello will pick players for other reasons than simply on pitch performances, no doubt about it. Its not who you are but who you play for.

No , kid . I'm saying that I am . - I was called Grandad- and not in a good way- on here the other day . Though , I maintain I look at least 10 years younger . Irrespective , I'm getting there . I perhaps assumed that your mature opinions betrayed your age . Apologies , my mate .
No doubt your 17 .

His attitude according to Moyes?

Joleons version in the papers today was that he didn't think his attitude was disrespectful and how the players didn't think so either.

Which once again points to Moyes playing damage limitation and making Lescott look bad to make himself look better over the whole transfer.

But who really knows, its all just one persons word against anothers with added media spin.

We don't know diddley squat about what went on behind the scenes regarding Lescotts attitude if we're fair minded.

Moyes could have agreed terms earlier than he did, and Lescott might not have wanted to go to City, but neither of those things happened .
Seriously, I don't buy in to the ' Lescott's the big bad guy ' opinion.

We can't say Lescott left it late when our club themselves leave it late every year.
That would be very hypocritical.

I know you have a good point there, if I'm honest. We'll never really know what happened, but for my own comfort I choose to believe our manager. Seeing as Lescott is the one who left and Moyes the one trying to build an even better side then last years.

He was a great CB/LB for Everton though, I'll never deny that.

Lescott signed a 5 year contract which he was happy with. It is pure greed that took him to city. The club has no more ambition than we have.

As to what went on behind the scenes we will never know truly know. What I do know as an Everton supporter is that I feel like I have been kicked in the teeth the way Lescott went about to get away from GP.

He was also interviewd on SSN last night after City's game as was Hughes, who was very smug about getting Lescott.

That is my last post on this back stabber.

Mate , I did . I also saidi it on here . This was before the U.S. trip - I heard of a tantrum actually AT the Airport . This fuka turned bandit . FACT . Irrespective of his reasons , he'd signed an extension to is contract only months before , then went all titty-lip when he heard about the dough .
Stand on me .
