That would be my preference if we moved to a new stadium. Really not sure about New Goodison Park.

Years ago I used to work as a silver service waiter in one of the sponsors lounge. Home from uni for weekend, beer money cash-in-hand, got to watch the game (usually from a seat in Directors' Box, or if full next to the radio commentators). The kitchen in the lounge we were in had a door that opened up onto the players' tunnel, so occasionally players would come in looking for some grub if they weren't playing. I recall turning around and there was Norman Whiteside (2nd season) looking for some Black Forest Gateaux.

Anyway met the chef I worked with two years ago for a catch up beer, and he told me one time when he was there, and his staff were late. A "young blond fella" came in looking for a sandwich, and the chef was running late - so told him he'd get the sandwich if he washed and peeled all the veg that was sitting on the side. (Chef wasn't a Blue, had no idea who he was - assumed he was a staff member from another lounge). Anyway someone walks in and says "Not playing today Stu?", to which Jigsaw replied he'd not made the bench, so was going to watch the match from the stands. That's when the penny dropped with my mate, and he couldn't believe he'd got a first team player (sort of) sleeves rolled up peeling spuds...

I think Jigsaw runs a taxi / airport limo type operation now.

Id rather a new stadium. Call me progressive like. Folks talking about re-development etc. Be arsed with all the messing. Just give us a state of the art stadia and facilities to go with it and I'm happy. Nice new stadium to break in some good old fashioned booing
