If we don't get into the top 4 what are your predictions for Everton football club

Whats your point? We're going to get 4th? Highly highly doubt it. Chelsea nailed on for at least 3rd.

Between us, spurs and Arsenal we cant finish teams off.

Oh and dont write off those horrible carts from across the park....

You said we wont get 4th becasue we fail to beat sides below us, Well so do Spurs and Arsenal, Someone has to get 4th why not us

We'll win the FA Cup. And according to most on here thats more important than CL, so if we do win it and we miss out on 4th i EXPECT this place to be calm as ****.

We wont get 4th, it will be an achievement to finish 6th

it really won't be, the RS might still finish 7th despite having their worst squad in many decades. West brom are decent but no real stand out players. our squad is without a doubt one of the best 6 squads in the league so 6th is the least we should be aiming for imo

of course it's more important, with the seeding of the champs league atm, if we qualified it could end up being villareal all over again and a season wasted for nothing. Silverware is being the best at something, not the 4th best, i know some people would prefer champs league but there's not picture to frame of the royal blue holding up another trophy

If we don't finish 4th, where's Moyes going to go ?

I'd be interested to know what clubs will take a manager who only speaks English (for those outside of the PL), has never won anything of note, has had his team crash out of Europe every time we've qualified, and is on £3.5m a year.

Bet the top clubs are lining up.

wow strong negativity. our rivals for fourth are spurs and arsenal, we beat Spurs and should have beaten Arsenal . wtf can't we finish fourth?

Of course we should be aiming for at least 6th. Will be an achievement if we get there.

Btw liverpool will be within 3 points if they turn united over tomorrow.

I see where you're coming from but I look back 12 months and think it'd be an absolutely brilliant effort. Nothing to show for it silverware wise, like, but given we've spent nothing, it's an achievement no other team seems to be able to pull off. I can't think of anyone who's done so well without having a major, major break going their way e.g. Carroll fee for Newcastle. Expectations sky-rocket in football at the drop of a hat so I think we'd do well to appreciate the turn in fortunes we've had. Are we a top 4/5 squad? No. We would be punching considerably above our weight in my opinion. It would have to be considered a huge bonus rather than a requirement.

.....what a daft thread. As if finishing in the top 4 is the be all. Its all about expectations and unfortunately folk are expecting more than we are capable of delivering. Whilst clubs in the mix with us can bring in £20m players in Jan, we will have to make do. Whatever we achieve is a plus and the key to maintaining the status quo is simple - the manager. Top 4 is unrealistic so get in the real world.

yeah, of course, if you would have told me then we'd be here i would have laughed. especially with the quality of football and our team being so much improved. just think we have the 6th best squad in the league and based on the competition, don't really rate it as that much of an achievement. i expected us to get top 6 start of the season, anything more would be a bonus
