Not as old as you'd think. This is the hurdle Corbyn has to jump over - appealing not only to the "grey" vote but the middle-classes aged 35+.

They always used to say if you were under 30 and didn't vote Labour you had no soul, and if you were over 30 and didn't vote Tory you had no brain.

I think as people get older, have children, take on mortgages etc it becomes more difficult for them to vote for the good of society rather than for their own self-interest. Personally I've never voted Labour, as I didn't care for Kinnock, and Blair/Brown's brand of red Tory never did it for me either, hence I always voted Liberal. But this time, with re-nationalisation of public services and railways, restoration of spending on NHS and Education, and hopefully the beginning of a fairer redistribution of wealth I will be voting Labour. I'm 46, so let's hope people think like me.

You do get the feeling that it's like 1992, when nobody admitted they were voting for John Major, but then they did. May is seen as a bit of a joke, and people will be reluctant to admit they're voting for her. I can see a Tory majority of about 50 I'm afraid.

Sadly. I don't think we have a choice. I'm voting labour and I know most of us will. But I just feel so battered into believing it's always the tories

First thing that will happen on here if the Tories win will be a hysterical meltdown from the same people who've been saying for months that they knew the Tories would win.

Judging by recent donors to the Conservative Party, a Tory victory will secure the future of fixed-odds terminals in the UK bookies.

May should be going about with Betfred emblazoned on the back of her jacket.

Not before raging endlessly about the stupidity of the electorate for daring to vote "against their own interests".
I am going to blame the young ones for not getting out to vote, how can anybody under 25 not get out and vote Labour, its like getting paid £30,000 for putting an x in a box, if Labour do away with tuition fees

Not voting it like voting for a devil and letting a left wing ideologist no experienced labour leader in - If Labour had a Keir Starmer or Dan Jarvis as leader they would win by a landslide!
I would vote labour like in the last election - I cannot vote for corbynism even as a prolonged even in retirement a member of a trade union!

I was like that till a few weeks ago joey66 , but am voting Labour despite my misgivings on the Labour front bench, as I can see the Tories doing untold damage to the NHS ect if they get a clear mandate, Labour at least offer some hope, and if they get beat as I think they will ,at least I can say I have done my bit voting against the government when they kick off, and my conscience will be clear

But you know as well as I do that those same idiots who didn't vote will blame the wicked old people for all their ills if the vote goes against what they claim to of wanted. It was the same over Brexit. Only 36% of 18-24 year old voted and yet instead of attacking their peers from being so ignorant for not voting and essentially costing them the referendum, they decided to attack those who did but voted differently.

One can't stress this enough :(
