In the second half he was pretty much playing defensive mid, box-to-box, number 10 and centre forward all at once, with brief cameos out wide.

Forced out of the team? He's the best player Goodison has seen for years. Well really he's the best player the whole world has ever seen, but my point stands.
If there are central midfielders who should be on the bench, Morgan, Klaassen, Davies, Barry, Barkley, Besic and McCarthy all have stronger cases to be warming the pine than this Prince does.
Great game and indeed he did have a shot on target before the goal, but I think @Rugby Toffee's point is that his shooting is somewhat wayward.
On numerous occasions last season he had a strong opportunity to score either through on goal or at a distance and many were wasted.
He's a brilliant player who offers so much to the team but shooting isn't his strong point - if he could add it then he'd get a fair few goals.
