Agreed there, on all 3 players.No that's true enough, the way some talk though you would think he was like Phil Neville or something.
His defensive ability seems to mask the fact that he is a very talented footballer who can probably play anywhere if asked. I think Besic is pigeonholed similarly. Actually Schneiderlin too I suppose.
For Gana though you can see where his strengths are - closing down, tackling, the likes. No shame in being like that though, for me a player like that is needed, every good team has one. Hell, even we did back in 2004 - Carsley was of similar ilk (though not as good imo).
Trouble is when you have 2 of the same - if you pair any of the 3 you mentioned together we kind of overdo it, which works sometimes against stronger opposition, but against Ruzemberok and other teams where we're obviously going to dominate I'd rather we see only 1 holding type player and another striker up front, personally, or an attacking mid.
