I’d like to see him get a bit of support to be honest mate, I think he played about 37 PL games last season.

If we are to benefit from experience and longevity I think we bring some around him to support him and give him a breather, let younger lads learn off him and have a year or two of succession planning.

we definitely need someone in to support him, whether that’s his long term replacement or just someone with a similar profile as back up

Diarra and Knight sound decent. only issue with Diarra is they’d both be off to ACON at same time
