My only concern is he's played at such a frenetic pace and with such tenacity and also covered so much ground that, when he has the inevitable drop-off, it's going to be really noticeable and I'm not sure he can transition to being effective in other ways. Maybe he could at least transition into a modern day Norman Hunter ( for the old dodderers like me among us).

If he well liked within the squad and is good to have in the dressing room he`ll get another 12 month rolling contract. We`ve done this in the past, literally a week ago.
