Tbh as soon as Gana picked up the ball, I knew, he must be the worst finisher at the club, no composure whatsoever in front of goal. Onanas pen was dreadfully over confidence personified. A word for Keane took some bottle to take one after the own goal, credit to him.

Tbh id rather have had dyche taking one than gueye. Never felt less confident watching him step up having seen his shooting for years. Should have been stone cold last option.

Peno wasn't terrible, but I thought he was terrible tonight. Slow and hesitant, constantly giving up possession in dangerous areas or close to it. I don't blame him, I think he's simply not up to it.

Watching Gana play tonight made me realize even more so how critical James Garner is as a holding defensive midfielder.

Although Garner does a great job in the more forward role, playing Onana and Gana together kills our positioning. I lost count of the number of times Palhinha drug them out.

Well there were only three left. I probably would have gone with Pickford, but would not have picked either of the fullbacks over him.

He went up, picked a corner and missed by 2 inches. As far as misses go, it wasn’t that bad.

Watching Gana play tonight made me realize even more so how critical James Garner is as a holding defensive midfielder.

Good shout but tbh mate Harrison was dreadful. Definitely needed Garner back in cm though. Those last 10 minutes plus stoppage time, Gana was an embarrassment, constantly poor discipline, out of position, poor on the ball, just no thought of where he should be. Him and Onana are woeful as a 2. Garner adds so much positional discipline to the midfield

….i also thought this was the obvious switch, I saw Danjuma coming on and said to Mrs Eggs ‘it’ll be Gueye’. i then wondered if Harrison had a knock.

Curious this, really. I thought Harrison put in a good shift and Dyche praised Gana in post match comments. The latter might just be to make up for his confidence i guess.

Yes mate I seen the comments by Dyche. But in fairness he says Young has played brilliant after games where he's been torn a new arsehole so who knows lol
