I suppose it depends what kind of person you are.

Made up for the lad, hes out there winning trophies, enjoying his footy, I feel only joy for him.

I'm happy for him and pleased that he's now got the recognition he deserved but would rather he was playing his football on Merseyside rather than Paris.

He wouldnt be happy here if we kept him.

You are seeing what happens when you keep players when you look at Pogba.

He wanted to go in Jan, we kept hold of him, he put his head down, didnt sulk, didnt moan, just played his footy, so good luck to him I say, nobody should be forced to stay at this nothing club.

I mean, we didn't get walloped every week did we?
For long periods, yes. The spell that saw Koeman sacked was littered with appalling results, and the one Silva endured last winter wasn't much better.

In regard to your other reply, I don't rate French football whatsoever, but I'm sure I'll catch a full PSG Champions League game at some point. I'm glad that things are going well for Gueye, but I still don't believe that Everton's situation would be any better if it were him in the team instead of Delph (same can't be said for Schneiderlin, obviously). It's great for him that he's found a place where his flaws are mitigated, though.

Yes you can't argue with his application at all, other players may well have thrown a strop.

Just wish he could have fulfilled his ambitions here.

At the moment, the way he's playing, he has no flaws.

Of course, it won't last. He's in the form of his life. But he's genuinely doing everything perfectly. He played an incredible throughball for Neymar (lol) the other day. Pinpoint, 30-yard pass.

Anyway, I agree mostly. The way we're playing, him and Zouma would help us massively because we'd have been 10 yards further up the pitch.

But, we shouldn't need those two players to beat Burnley away or Sheff Utd at home.

I’m as big a Gana lover as anyone, but he wanted to go. GOAT is right. You don’t keep players that want to leave (unless you are the top of the food chain and can afford to do so).

Gbamin and Gomes also got injured. I’m almost positive Silva wouldn’t be exposed for the utter clown that he is if they were still healthy. We just didn’t find a solution for those injuries, and that is on Marco. That and the fraud froze out Bernard. Boooooo

Wasn't he in the team when Everton were getting walloped every week under both Koeman and Silva in the last two seasons?

You're right. He was a big part of the reason they were getting walloped. That's why a team with champions league football wanted him. That's why they want all of our crappy players.

Gana was why we were losing. Everton is clearly a bigger club than PSG and above a player of Gana's caliber.

One thing none of our players do that Gana does better than almost everyone in prod football is steal the ball against the run of play. Notice how we absolutely suck butt on the counter right now. It’s because we win the ball back in our 6 freakin yard box.

I hope it continues. I've ended up being drawn into criticising him more than I'd really want to, purely because of people's reactions to me not agreeing that he's Kante. I think he's a bit of a ball watcher and that he gave the ball away too cheaply, but he was perfectly decent overall.

Were you this complimentary about Choupo Moting when he earned his move to le Celtíc?

Could also be to do with the fact we have 11 behind the ball and gylfi 'running'/ strolling forward
