2025/26 Idrissa Gana Gueye

I think it might be time mate.

Our two best midfield pertinences this season IMO came with him out of the team - Mon night and Vs Villa.

Garner I think is better without him also.
I think the only way I could make peace with one more year would be if our budget doesn't stretch to replacing him this summer. If that happens, then ok, but my concern would be that it comes at the price of minutes for Röhl, Armstrong etc

Most blues I know think a handshake and parting of the ways is probably for the best this summer. Also thought it was interesting that Moyes said we'd hear about Coleman and Gueye in the coming weeks - I hope, if they're both leaving, that we are told in advance of the Sunderland game.

Would be a good squad player next season, I've got a feeling he might have better offers though. I've got an even more worrying feeling that Moyes will re-sign him as a nailed on starter.

Everything ends mate, hes been a great servant, but it might be time, id hope its a coming together and both making a mutual decision at this stage of his career and service. He may have a better offer elsewhere in terms of playing time and good luck to him.

Garner, Armstrong, Rohl maybe even Tim (but i have my doubts) are the future - think we will get another as well in the summer, i beleive its on our agenda.

We'l miss him at times, but we have to transition the squad at some point.

Unless of course we sign him back again after being unable to replace him - it's the Everton way

I don't think he would be a good squad player. He doesn't strike me as that type of player or character. He's been a great servant for us and I wish him well but it's time to move on.

Reckon he’ll get 1 more year. It’s inevitably Everton.
Besides, I bet his stats for distance covered and defensive actions remain very decent.
I think this season (in particular the last month or two) is the first time I can ever remember him visibly running out of steam in the later stages of games. His game is all about his energy and it's impressive he's kept it up as long as he has, but I do worry we have seen the beginning of the end.
