I'd rather have Martinez back

No I'd still have Koenman over Martinez. The side quit on Bob and the only thing you can do then is fire the manager. It was no different than what Chelsea did to Murinho.

There's a new wave of tacticians, especially over in Germany. If we lost Poch for some reason I really hope Levy is keeping a close eye on Nagelsmann and Hasenhüttl. Other than that Eddie Howe seems like a good coach, managing to play good football with Bournemouth is really commendable.

You guys should be looking at these types of coaches if it gets bad enough that Koeman is sacked.

Martinez has his plus points. At least he was positive about the club in general. But we got steadily worse in his last two years and I honestly think we'd have been relegated if he'd seen out his contract.

Have you watched us this season mate? Far and away the worst footballing team in the division.

I've seen a few, although I thought you were pretty good against us!

I very much doubt you have performed worse than the Swansea side we faces last weekend, that was the worst Premier League performance I've seen for a couple of years. Seems like it was a one off though because they beat Sunderland 3-0 yesterday.

I have to admit I don't like Koeman and never really did at Southampton either. Something about him is very distant, he doesn't seem to care about any club he coaches and treats it more like a 9-5 regular job.

Interesting point, a lot of our fans say exactly the same. So its visible from the outside as well?
He does seem to have a very strange management style, he seems to have no passion during games, like he doesn't need to hand out any instructions or tweek things when things are going well.

I'm beginning to think the problems goes deeper than the manager, I really wanted a change a Martinez gone as I thought another manager would come in a at least slowly improve things, but we seem to be back to where Martibez had us in no time. I'm starting to feel for Martinez abit as imo at the moment Koeman is doing worse, With Moyes not so much was expected so he wasn't under quite so much pressure. It's seem to be the same old problem there are a group of players regardless of how they perform never get dropped, Baines,Coleman,Barry,Lukaku are 3 obvious ones, Apart from Lukaku who has to stay in the team as there's no real replacement in the squad, but he is a lazy footballer, Barkley always seems to be made the scapegoat when the others aren't performing any better. Also where is Koemans youth policy that he had at Southampton, we have rarely seen any given a chance, Holgate has been very good every time I've seen him play, but Coleman regardless how his playing always gets picked. I'm beginning to wonder if the managers are getting instruction from the top of who they have to play.

The Southampton fans criticised him for not playing the youngsters enough.

He lost the players and baffled their brains. There was no way he could have ever got them back on side

....he did lose the players and let's not forget we were in free fall when he left. Saying that, you have to wonder whether Koeman has lost the players and 1win in 10 is certainly free fall. Maybe rather than losing the players, Koeman has given up on them.

January transfer window is an increasingly major period for this manager, he has to bring in personnel who play for him otherwise we will struggle to pick up another 20 points to keep us in this division.
