Now, I might be mistaken but I thought our best players yesterday were Rom, Jimmy Mac, Joel and Ross.

Three of whom were signed by our allegedly calamitous former manager and one whom he made a fixture in the first team.

To once more quote Marc Antony....."the evil that men do lives after them, the good is oft interred with their bones"...:pint2:

Instead of wasting so much time and energy berating Senor Martinez, happen we should be thanking him for bequeathing Ronald a heck of a nucleus as he assembles a squad we can go to war with ;)

Vaya con Dios, Roberto.....y muchos gracias :)

Wasn't that what he was berated for? Not getting the best out of the squad?

Shame he couldnt get any of them to play football.

And mentioning Barkley in relation to Martinez should be bannable, he took the lad backwards.

Oh

And there's me thinking he was being traduced in this very bailiwick for filling the squad with rubbish and the whole squad needed "gutting" before we would see any improvement from Ronald :(

Hang about.....he was being berated for that very reason during our bad run

And just look at his players now.

:)

Someone should do a Before and After shot on Ross - his fat arse in April of last year after 3 years on the lemon drizzle cake with Bobby, and then after 6 months of fitness training with Koeman.

Ross was boss y'day btw.. loved the slideys

It's pathetic isn't it.

It's like they were in a coma for the whole of last season when the clown lost the dressing room and these players had sussed the previously relegated buffoon out.

he shouldn't even be getting chatted about in here anymore, let alone being given credit for anything.

Worst home record in how long? Morale at an all time low since Walter smith days at the end of his reign, crowd bored to tears of insipid over passing garbage, Barkley going backwards as a footballer in general and not even looking fit.
