Ian Ross has just announced that Keith Wyness resigning is in no way related to the Kirkby Project being called in or not.

Just announced on Radio Merseyside!

More than likely means it is then. if you go with the opposite of what ross say's you'll usually be on the right lines.

did he, perchance, give the actual reason why little Keith resigned?

the trifling matter of 500 pork pies, missing from the GP freezers found under his bed... :P

Just been on Radio city. Moyes said that Aj asked for the move to fulham. When he was told no, is the reason he stormed out of the preston game. So much for i don't want to leave.

Prick.

If I trust anyones word at the club it's Moyes' he never mixes his words and I believe he's always 100% upfront with the fans. So if it's true what a [Poor language removed] **** AJ is, we're all sat here singing his praises about what a pro the guy is and he acts like that.

Deja Vu I seem to remember Beattie slagging us off in his blog not long after he left.

I said last night that it was unlikely to have anything to do with Kirkby, Wyness was only the messanger for far more powerful elements on the board. It is interesting to note that this morning Moyes has promised to sign his contract basically when the team returns from the States which says to me it has been a clash between those two and Wyness lost

Even more Kudos for Mr Moyes :)

I could well agree with that.

Maybe he was told to fall on his sword or be sacked.

maybe moyes would only sign if wyness left?

Their would only be one winner their!!

Yes good point, Moyes happy to sign now Wyness gone, it rings true. And probably ultimately down to disagreements about players / money. Maybe Wyness tried to have more of an input into which players came in than Moyes would have liked.:@

I would assume this is a real possibility. I reckon they both went to Bill and Bill had no choice but to side with Moyes.

If this is the case I think Moyes will be propelled into a status of god.
