To be fair to the team that was a tough game today, the defence needs looking at but personaly ive seen them play worse this season. I thought Distin was better then Jags myself. Hibbert and Baines both had good games. The midfeild on occaison lacked that killer pass and we were a wee bit sloppy - Super Tim Cahill is entering a purple patch of form. Yak and Vic made the diference when they came on.

Pretty much spot on.
Was nice to get the win today especially considering we lost the lead again. Twice.
Hard to be too harsh for the goals though cause both were great strikes but today showed why we fall short of truly being a top team in the division.
And thats the amount of times we just lose possession stupidly by playing awful passes under no pressure, both short passes and long ones.
One minute we'd be passing the ball about in midfield like the best of them, the next we'd make simple error and lose it.
Hibberts first touch was to play a wasted ball in the air straight to a Blackburn player.
We also gave away possession straight from the kick off after their second goal. And late on after we had scored the winner the sensible thing to do is run the ball into the corner and waste time. But Pienarr gets it and instead of doing that comes inside and tries to attack. The ball comes to Arteta who puts it back out wide and what does Anichebe do?
Thats right, go to the byline and cross it then wonders why there was no one in the middle attacking the cross with seconds left and a lead to defend.
Twice before the 3rd goal i think we had players waiting in the box for a cross but came inside and tried hopefull shots.
I'm not criticising or moaning, we done enough today to get the job done and win the match.
But its things like mentioned above which really make it difficult for ourselves.

Yak was EXCELLENT when he came on. Thats the best I've seen him and most confident in a long time!
Even when it went 2-2 Yak was the one encouraging the team.
And when he spun his man..... well that says it all.
Cahill and Yak stickin one on the snides today!!!!

"I was nearly losing the will when they got the second goal back because we'd played some really good stuff and I thought we weren't going to get anything out of it."
Glowing indeed, maybe it shows how much as fans we have been spoiled by our reaction of expecting to beat Blackburn and how well we played Vs Moyes!
