Oh m8, happened to me a few months ago, I ended up giving up and giving the new seat away ( unused obviously ) total nightmare.

I'm now stuck with the old seat just laying on top as i broke the fixings trying to get it off..

At least it's not only me..

Got it done in the end.

£6.80 for a pair of Universal Top fix bungs with the screw bolts ( Toolstation )
The ones with the new seat wouldn't go anywhere near the holes and the old ones were a mare to get out.

Anyways all good now .

But Never again.

When the West Kirby to Hooton railway line was closed down,the Queen took (probably) the last passenger train along it.
My primary school in Heswall traipsed us all the way down to lower Heswall to wave as the train went by.
All the effin curtains were closed as it shunted by😳😩
So like you I have never seen her in the flesh.
