Were in the FA Cup final!

A generation of young supporters will get to see the team that should have always been there. finally make it to the top.

Do we gloat about it on the streets in the face of the Liverpool supporters? I dunno I dont live there, but I do here.
 

I dont gloat, they're challenging for the league and their record in cup competitions over the last 10 years in all honesty pisses all over this seasons FA Cup.

Don't get me wrong I'm delighted but the majority of kopites are pleased for us as far as I'm aware so I personally I'm just proud to be blue at this moment in time.

Actually, a lot have been okay about it. Maybe we're getting back to the Merseyside, scarves across the Mersey stuff of yesteryear. :lol:

I am getting that feeling myself mate. It is building a nice community collective gloat about the 2 Merseyside teams taking control again.

Hopefully it will continue, and we continue improving. It would be funny if we carry on as we are and win the league before them as well.

Ditto what KJ said , to be honest . I got loads of texts , pre-game from Reds as well . As for gloating . Its not our style really , but if youre gonna do it , at least wait until we win something .
The original thread remains pertinent . A generation of kids whove grown up with nothing while the Shabs have won everything except the League . Similar to when I grew up , though then they won the league as well !!!
Those young blues must be loving it . The firm I took Sunday all said it was the best day of their lives .

I cant believe its not butter....and that the FA have given us less ticktes than the semi final so I pretty much have no chance of going.

Many Reds i have heard have been pleased for us, however there has been a BUT in their comments. The but regarding to, yes BUT did you see the team United put out. You have a point to a certain extent about Liverpool's cup run but in response to their fans i say, But who did you beat in your last FA Cup Final? West Ham! But you only beat them on penalties and they only happened because of one team wonder Gerrard's late leveller. I could say many But's in reference to the RS success in cups, Alaves and a Golden Goal Own Goal, 7 minutes of madness in 120 minute's of football, Henchoz handballs on the goal-line. Liverpool fans are only pleased because we beat a team they are jealous of, a team they cannot get the better of in the Premier League. From an eternally proud Blue who tells LFC fans, But we knocked you out of the Cup, But we beat a Villa side in form at the time, But We are in the 2009 FA Cup Final.

Posted via Mobile Device like a few of us have already mentioned the kopites plaudits are only because we knocked United out - any other side and they would have all been saying 'big deal' about us reaching the final.
