Don't see why he'd want to move.

Had a torrid few years moving from Holland to Madrid and then Milan, looks like he's finally settled in a good squad that has Champions League games every year and he's slotting like a madman, if they're prepared to offer him improved terms on a new contract then he'd be mad to leave, for fear of doing what he did in the past.

If he came here though i'd be like this...

I know that this him coming here is far-fetched at best...but SURELY dm has to play a 4-4-2 if we had both of them?! Not that I think the 4-5-1/4-4-1-1 is horrible. But a sliver lining could be that Felli is pushed back to partner with Gibbo/Ossie?

4-4-2???

For the love of god!!!!!!!!!!!........

Utd have Rooney and RVP and yet STILL don't play a 4-4-2...

Doesn't that tell u something??? 4-4-2 died years ago.

People need to realise that 4-4-2 is an outdated, stale, defensive formation. It has no fluidity. If you need to solidify, and shore up your defense, then you play a 4-4-2, cause it helps create familiarity throughout the squad, people have a position and stick to it. It's a good formation for a coach new to his team, good to help a coach see what his players can do while still playing it fairly safe.

4-4-2 is dead (mostly used in Internationals).

That's fair (I'm realatively new to the whole football thing, meaning <4 years), but in that case, how does he play them both? Surely, if he had Huntelaar and Jealvic, they both start every game that they are fit...so does it become a 4-5-1? If so, who plays behind who? Help me out here, this is a genuine question. haha

Simple, one would have to sit! Bring both on when we need a goal.

But of course this is never happening. He has no reason to join us.

For me, I dont think you would play them both. This is how I see it

Jelavic Good Points
Boss slotter
Grafter
Good Positional Sense

Jelavic Bad points
Slow Accelaration, though not too shabby when he's moving
Poor Passing Range.
Can get lost when working the channels, lose the ball.

Huntelaar Good Points
Boss Slotter
Can dig from outside the box
Good Positional Sense

Huntelaar Bad Point
Work Rate
(I'm only putting one cause I think its the most important in my argument)

For me, with the way that these two players would play together, Niether are suited to playing in a position behind the striker, they are there purely to score goals, they both need to be supplied rather than the supplier. If we played them together, I can't help but think that they would be standing on each others toes. Also I think it would take a place on the pitch off somebody who cando the work outside of the box, run at the defence, and maybe score a few of his own aswell (Mirallas).

In conclusion, it can only be Huntellar (29), OR Jelavic (27), and we already have Jelavic, and will have him for a longer period.

I could be wrong though...........................
