We tried that, it ended (not unsurprisingly) in a lack of pride or results.
Because he played the senior side who don't have any pride. As I said, I'd sooner play the kids. I'd have more confidence in them to fight for the shirt then I do the first team.

He didn't though mate. He played Davies, DCL, Beni, Kenny, Feeney etc. It was even worse than it is now.

Which youngsters would you throw in now? Davies and DCL won't fight for the shirt, that's for certain.

....you have obviously forgotten Southampton away last season.

Up the Toffees.
I rember mate. I also remember losing 3-0 at home to spurs, 4-0 away at Man Utd and 5-2 at home to Arsenal before Rhino took over. I'd sooner the kids play, hopefully they haven't let the poisonous attitude of the first team infect them.

It’s ok I’m sure Huddersfield wouldn’t have watched the Millwall game and think “yeah, let’s smash them with set pieces”, we’ll be fine

Because there was different expectations on him then. He hoped he'd have a shot at the first team as manager and tried to give the senior side the benefit of the doubt and they let him down like they always let everyone down. He'd know better this team and not trust those rats. Davis and DCL have become part of the first team, they're list causes and don't care. The kids fighting for their future might.

There weren't. He was expected to win matches, like every other Everton manager. What we got instead was a disaster. Unsworth's reign of terror was the worst of the lot.

Again, which kids would you throw in? None of them seem to be any good.

This is just garbage. What's your starting XI with 'kids'? The average age of the team is something like 24 at the moment. If anything, I think we are missing the odd vocal senior pro to make sure the players on the pitch are putting the basics in.

By the time we play them we’ll have spent another £750k on players we don’t need/want.

I’d like to think he bins 4-2-3-1 and zonal defending but I’m prepped for another toothless defeat.

It wasn't though, it was just more of the same garbage from the parasites in our first team, while he also had the despicable rats Williams and Mirallas stering the pot.

Leadership on the pitch isn't the issue. Our disgustingly cowardly senior side dont care or even try most weeks. You can get a older player to add leadership and be very vocal but he'll be broken in a matter of mouths with our despicable team surrounding him.

You're reimagining what happened under Unsworth. Go back and have a look at the results and the line ups.

He was hopelessly out of his depth. He threw Feeney in against Atalanta to play to exactly the crowd sentiments you are gripped by now - and the lad was humiliated and hasn't played a senior game since.
