I'd probably have to point my finger at Kenwright more than Moyes to be fair.
Whilst I strenuously do not agree with how Moyes conducted himself over his last 18 months, you feel things may have been different if Kenwright hadn't persisted in telling him "he had a job for life in our club" (paraphrased to an extent).
If you're in work, you strive to over exceed, you strive to beat targets, you strive to succeed.
Why did Moyes have to? The media adored him, Kenwright adored him, and after years of us being told "knife to a gunfight", "miracle were even in top half", and so forth, Moyes had the easiest job in football, the fans were broken, had given up, and we were getting sub 30,000 attendances.. as little as 4 seasons ago!
Whilst I'm extremely grateful for all he done for us, he transformed us, and took us from Gareth Farrelly and John Spencer, to Yakubu, Cahill and Arteta.
But ultimately, I'll look on his reign as poor, 11 years was it? No trophies, no wins at Anfield, or any other the other big sides (a fear we still hold today, when it comes to the pit!), and the most sickening of all, was the bottling of the 2012 Semi Final. The worst Liverpool team for going on decades, and he sits back for extra time, and even tries to bring hibbert on at 92' before they scored.
So negative. Not missed. Glad to see him fail miserably.
