Neiler dumping on an american??? Say it isn't so. Color me shocked...not.

*Weeps.

*Wonders why City havnt come in for him.

Seriously like, our best players are always linked with moves away, if hes a top/world class keeper why is he never lined up for a move away - or linked with clubs in the CL - i dont get the Howard thing i really dont - i really think hes awfull. Mile of his line with Dempsey bearing down on goal and people are saying brilliant save.

I think we should get another 1st team keeper in see if he can keep his place.

Hahahahaha wow.

To be fair I love Neiler's outlook on this one, it's great reading, I think he's rather harsh on Howard, but he does make some glaring errors. Would have loved Krul.

??????????????

Id have Donavan, Dempsey here is a shot, in fact id give Arry 2 mill for Friedal and throw the other Tim in as a sweetner - proper keeper that Friedal lad. I fully believe that every country has their gash players inclusively and that includes the peoples republic of northern mexico or the americas as some like to call them. I also fully endorse girls from the east coast, wasnt that gone with the west if im honest, bar San Fran.

As a wiser man than me once said: touch down.

You'd give £2m and Tim Cahill for a 41 year old?

Tim Howard signs new Everton contract until 2016

Everton keeper Tim Howard has signed a new deal with the club until 2016.
The United States international has made 256 appearances for the Toffees after joining from Manchester United in 2006, initially on loan.
"I couldn't be happier," he told the club's website. "I've had a smile on my face ever since we finalised the deal."

Tim Howard for Everton against Bolton in a 2-1 defeat on 4 January 2012

Paul Robinson for Spurs against Watford in a 3-1 win on 17 March 2007

Brad Friedel for Blackburn against Charlton in a 3-2 defeat on 21 February 2004

Peter Schmeichel for Aston Villa against Everton in a 3-2 defeat on 20 October 2001

Howard famously scored his first professional goal during Everton's 2-1 defeat by Bolton on 4 January, when his goal kick was assisted by strong winds.
It was the fourth time a goalkeeper had scored in Premier League history.
Howard signed a permanent deal with Everton in February 2007 and the new contract means he is set to spend a decade at Goodison Park.
"It's a place that is home for me," he added.
"When you have a really good relationship in life and both sides are eager to continue and keep that going, it's a no-brainer.
"This hasn't been a knockdown, drawn-out type of negotiation with meetings or anything like that.
"They were very happy to keep me here and I was very, very happy to stay."

I was about to get all aghast, then I saw the "but". I can endorse that.

;)

Neiler supports Americans skidrow, this has nothing to do with that. He just doesn't rate Howard.

I know neiler supports americans... Howard he does not like...

I think neiler remembers more of the flapping than the saves Tim makes. Howard's command and actions in the box on crosses drives me batty as well.
