I don't understand why he can't catch or kick a football

Surely one should ask if Howard was so good why did SAF let him go. A Man U Fan told me in situations like yesterday Howard had a habit of squinting or shutting his eyes, now that was back then so who knows. Anyone noticed anything?

Hard to gauge his ability upbin Scotland. How does he do in champions league apart fron that barca game they all raved about?

Last keeper bought from scotland by sunderland was a total flop.

I'd go for Forster but would need there to be a lot of support for him simply as hes coming from the scottish league. His profile though and games hes played look like he would be able to displace Hart in fact.

I'd also be keen on Butland who we should have signed when he went to Stoke. Also, his team mate Begovic is ranked as the leagues best frequently so perhaps a new move for him.

The Germans seem to churn out top class keepers so would be keeb to learn whose behing Neuer -- Adler sticks in my head.

howard has been one of the best keepers in the league season after he was uttter garbage last season. but i wouldn't say he's been one of our better performers though. maybe top 7, but we only play 11 players. he hasn't had a lot to do this season in all honesty, we've been the better in team in a very high percentage of our matches, our posession stats show that the opposition don't create too many chances for him to save either.

He's been great this season, thought he was superb against Chelsea if I honest.

He's been gash in the best but he's stepped up this season, bar the odd human error.

He should have wiped terry out going for that ball and he would have prob got the free kick as well. Makes me fume at times.

Not for me mate, Terry didn't touch it anyway, Jags at fault for me!

Howard made some cracking saves in the game Sat, I thought he was superb tbh.

I don't think terry touched it myself mate which means his presence alone made Tim make a right balls up of the cross,not a good quality in a keeper to be put off by players around you coming in. Surely if you think it was an own goal he was at fault, no?
