Cutting down the angle like he was supposed to? FFS he hasn't done much wrong at all the past 3 games, and people still can't help but attack the guy. Give it a rest. He's rounding into decent form.

Eh? He has had nothing to do.

Its slightly harsh to blame him for yesterdays goal, however if he reacted to what was happening instead of guessing what was going to happen like he seems to do these days he probably could have easily saved the shot.

Lloris was at fault for Pienaars goal too. Thankfully!

I'm not a fan anymore, but i hope you are right about him coming into form, but for me Moyes needs to buy a GoalKeeeper asap.

there keeper seemed to dive over it, like he was trying to make it look good but came a cropper, he hasnt played much lately might have been trying to make an impression

He did fine yesterday, the only mistake he made was one pass to Ossie that put him under pressure, which was luckily dealt with by Gibson and he made up for it saving the free kick. People just love to hate him, nothing he could of done for that goal, deflections are bull**** for keepers

didn't blame him for the goal as I don't believe he could have got near it but more than once he played poor passes to the back 4 and put us under pressure, decision making was awful.

I think there is a lack of quality keepers around at the moment and whilst Howard isnt on top of his game it would take mega bucks to get a ready made better keeper.

For starters, If you look at the money Utd have spent on keepers since Howard left and not one of them has been any better. United fans I know would have Howard as there No 1 now if they could.

Even Joe Hart, the alleged greatest English keeper in decades is error prone, he looked terrified on Saturday and has probably conceded more soft goals this season than Howard has in his Everton career.

Maybe its the pressure of the premier league, a lot of keepers have come with glowing reputations from abroad and not settled or looked crap. In fact since the premiership began there have only been a few real stand out keepers for me in the likes of Schmicheal, Cech, Reina (sadly!), Friedel, Martyn, Seaman maybe. I cant think of many others who you would say is a top top keeper

I live in manchester and i know of nobody of that opinion.

He's still one of the best keepers in the PL. Everyone has its ups and downs. But cant blame him for the goal. It was a brilliant one I have to say.

Freak goal or not and how many times have we heard that one when a goal flys , loops , spins in from yards out were tim is concerned, Fact was he was Way to far of his line in the first place

He's been much better of late, I agree. Which is good, we couldn't afford to have him in such poor form for long.

We could still do better but he's pulling his weight right now so fair play to him.

His main problem is he has no bottle.
He does not own his 6 yard box and is scared of crosses
When we play the rugby team on saturday we will see the real tim howard.
