Well done Tim, clean sheets are clean sheets! But also credit to the defense for a good solid season after such a shaky start!

Yobo to me was superb and anyone worrying still about Jagielka's injury need not. Listened to the phone in on my way back from the game and must have watched a different game to Ronnie Goodlass. He seemed unimpressed with the Nigerian but he impressed me this afternoon and i have no fears for May 30th. Well done Tim.

Goodlass is clueless, Yobo was solid today, very impressive

Solid at the back today, for some reason i thought he was better than Lescott, even though they were both solid.

Think his shooting needs to improve abit though...what was with his left foot - then right foot drives in the second half

He deserves it....because he has done it. Doesnt put him in Nev's league though, far from it

Who gives a rat's ass if he's in Nev's league or not.

You seem to be missing the point here.

The point is a big "Well Done" to Tim for what he's accomplished.

More to come from him.

yobo was great at the back today, but he keeps hoofing the ball, it seems to be contagious as lescott has started it again

Only a prem league record i believe. Shame to be honest as he isnt even close to being in Big Nevs league

the club pre-prem record : west 21 1969/70 ; wood 19 1977/78 ; sagar 18 1938/39 & southall 18 1984/85 ; west 17 1968/69 & southall 17 1986/87.

i think its a bit unfair to compare him to west's record, it was a very different game at the time. and tim can still get two more clean sheets this season, which would tie Southall's record

Different era (if anything Gomez's performance yesterday cheapens the value of a clean sheet) so you can't really compare. However congrats to the defense and Howard for doing a great job this year. Hopefully he'll keep breaking his own record.

it is a different era, but is it harder to keep a clean sheet now than then, I wonder whether the average goals per game in the top division has gone up or down since then?
