How stupid are Manu?

And regarding Falcao; shall we wait until he kicks a ball before we write him off? I remember everyone laughing at us for buying a "crocked RVP" in 2012. He then went on to win us the league title.

Not writing him off as he's clearly talented, just saying that there are some real unknowns with him as he wasn't in great form last year and has had a really bad injury.

Jones has actually been very good for us in pre-season and in our matches so far. Evans and Smalling have been dog chod, agreed.

Rojo will be fine - you sound like an excited RAWKite coming out with poo like that.

For what it's worth the Zidanes y Pavons did quite well.

I agree with that but there's a risk with every single transfer in football. I'm glad we've got him on loan with option to buy.

Re Blind, is he really a centre half? He looks a bit on the small side for that. If van Gaal sticks with 3 at the back you'd imagine it would be Rojo on the left of Jones/Evans or Smalling.

Blind is primarily a defensive midfielder. But he can also play CB and LB. We've bought him to sit in front of the defence, something we've been lacking for years.

But if needed, he can come in and do a decent job at CB.

As far as I heard he hadn't prior to leaving the Madrid embassy where he was applying to got to the Argentina team. At least you'll get to see him play against Germany :)

I've read/heard about 3 different stories on it all today. It's a bit of a joke really - we always seem to make things complicated. Liverpool, Chelsea and City just buy players with ease and they're ready to play! But when we throw cash about, we still can't get it right

How will the dressing room react to Falcao?

New lad coming in for less than a year will be there highest earner by far.

Don't know where you read that - he's on less than Rooney. £246 million per week. Isn't Fat Man on £300m per week?

How will they react? I don't know, no-one does. Chelsea and Man City seem to do ok when they splash the cash on big names though, we should be alright.

How aren't you bankrupt yet?

@RAWK Meltdown

What are your thoughts on blind? Hes never played centre back as far as I know (could be wrong) but could probably slot in on the left of a back 3.

However he seems so lightweight to play there and lacks pace. Defensive mid looks tailor made for him on the continent but here hes up against some tough lads from other teams who could steamroller him.

Looks to me like a left back but shaws there?

I hope you mean £246000.........

In regards to our transfers, here is a summary of who were actually in for. Apparently we WERE in for Hummels but not Vidal:

The bit in bold excites me down below.

Mate, all I see is this: Hummels did not want to go to United; Carvalho did not want to go to United. Don't forget also that Muller and Reus are reported not wanting to go to United.

*forgot to add, Di Maria did not want to go to United
