This is a very interesting question.

You can't complain that we don't have much funds for transfers AND complain about prices.

Also, for those that moan about "the board" not putting their hands in their pockets, would you consider £250,000 per game as a reasonable price to pay for any Evertonian?

If so, should we start means testing supporters and charge the higher earners more for their tickets?

We can't have it all ways folks.

We either have to stump up more cash or put up with what we can afford which applies to both supporters and the playing staff.

Basically, if we want to see superstars and trophies galore, we have to pay top dollar for it.
Otherwise, we pay what we can and cross our fingers it is enough.

An on-line season ticket streamed through the Official Site is next.
I would deffo buy one, or even 'an away' online season ticket ?
A fiver a game ? - All day long.

Would be great that. Is it coming, or just your prediction?

I just cant see the PL ignoring the un-official streaming for much longer.. So its just a prediction Im afraid..
I paid to watch the Pre-Season online last year through the Everton website..
Im sure many did.. The interest is deffo there for this.

Interest is there, but would Sky let the clubs do it? Not sure myself.

Are Sky happy knowing loads are watching streams for free ?

Probably not, but it is only in the UK that live games cant be shown on Saturdays. All over the world, saturday games are shown live, hence the streams I guess. So the impact on Sky is pretty small really. But by allowing clubs to officially show live Saturday matches in the UK? Not sure they would go for it.

Travel is a 10 Minute drive, parking is free - so I'm very lucky in that respect - but as others have said, over £45 would be really pushing it. I'd give up other things before my ST so I can't really say where my limit lies. But I don't think it's fair to charge more than £32 a ticket. That should be the limit.

Good points about parking Etc.
If you add a program etc on.. It certainly adds up for the ' out of town ' supporter.

well the increased TV money covers what you speak of, or is it all just going to line players bank accounts again ?

The clubs have had the opportunity this season to follow Germany's lead with regard to ticket prices, and we are by no means the most put on fans, not even in the city never mind the whole prem AND BELOW btw.

I don't really get why folk were marching on the PL's HQ today ?
the Premier League don't set admission prices for games do they ? in fact the Premier League are the 1's that get the TV deal from Sky etc and distribute the money to the clubs, so it is in fact the clubs themselves that should be getting the flack from the fans, and the players for their outrageous demands.
When we played at Chelsea in the FA Cup a cpl of years ago the tickets came via someones contact at the ticket office, they were from a player, he was to collect the money and hand it over (£22 each as I remember) from about a dozen folk some of whom he wouldn't see until the day, he got a call that the player was pestering for the money..... on 70k a week and pestering for the money ffs, I had to drive up to give it to him as did others. We then STOOD on a train from early doors to get to a lunchtime k.o. to cheer on 'the player' and our team.

There'll be different amounts given as answers due to us actually paying different amounts depending where we sit, I pay about £35 for me and 2 kids whereas some pay more than that for just themselves.

I never buy one, park free with a 20 minute walk & dread having to use my car instead of the MRS car.
If i go in mine it costs me £7-8 more, if I had to pay to park got a prog, food etc.

Used to go in mine, pay £6 to park, that alone is covering the cost of the kids season tickets. Dont buy a prog or grub tbh EVER we stop at B&M or Home'n'Bargain on the lancs, by doing this I may end up getting an ST for the other lad cos its a fiver a game for him, although next season the middle 1's will go up by £50 (over 11). Daughter may lose interest though as she's 13 and other interests will start to kick in.

I'm alright at the moment as I'm still in the family enclosure, £427 for next season. We'll have to move the season after though which will put the price up. I think once a season ticket goes over the £600 mark, I'd have to consider my position. A lot would depend on how the club were performing on and off the pitch.
