Rafael v Coleman= Coleman.
Evans/Smalling v Jagielka= Jags.
Vidic v Distin= Distin on current form because Vidic is a shadow of his former self.
Evra v Baines= Baines.
Carrick v Barry= Barry, just.
Fellaini v McCarthy= on overall reputation it's Felli but we wouldn't swap them now, so McCarthy.
Valencia v Mirallas= Mirallas.
Rooney v Barkley= Rooney.
Van Persie v Lukaku= Draw.
Kagawa v Pienaar= Draw.

Rooney is the only definite then and Barkley might even prove to be the better player in the long run.

Not sure which way you're swinging on this one. Van Persie is proven but his injury record isn't great and he does have his lean spells. Lukaku is raw but defenders hate facing him. If I could only choose one I would really struggle.

I tried not to be too one-eyed about it. I think that if you take Rooney and RVP out of the side they're pretty ordinary and I knew that if we could keep Wayne quiet last night that it would take an inspired performance or a piece of luck/cheating from someone else to cause us any problems.
