Jags at 4m is great business, if we fet Baines we are getting a quality young left back who could be a stalwart for years to come. I think we will sign two more on top of that whether it be loan or permanent.

I personally have faith in our manager and Im looking forward to what could be a great season.

I agree with you mick about moyes it took a while for me to take to him but what a great job he has done.
Going back to kenwright it was rooney that made him popular with some but i don,t trust him its his lies and where the [Poor language removed] has all the money gone.
I agree about some of the silly prices in the marketplace but for every chopra going for silly money there is an alliediere to be had who i think is value for money.

Which imo is all we will need UNLESS BT leaves, but with smith all but gone to the jokers who else is there?

Hate to pop your bubble Rob but the barcodes are in for Baines as of today apparently. They are paying top price too(ie more than us).

It would,nt surprise me if they took smith and baines no wonder evertonians get pissed off with kenwright.
Why can,t we tie up a deal 6m for smith is good business these days.
I see arteta has come out and mentioned the incomings this summer i bet the players get pissed off to

but if it does dont anyone get excited, i think it would take 10 million to sign him so i wont happen

Rob mate, why are you always angry when others opinion differs from yours. Leave some room for thoughts and dont be so narrow. Pardon me if you think I'm wrong.

Moyes is our saviour, not BK. KW use all his money and bought everton shares without clearing any existing dept. I have to say the best thing he did is to end the PJ era, the next best thing he did is hire moyes. Nothing more!

But the main concern that's holding the club back, firstly, is lack of investment and, secondly, the 30 million dept which we still cannot clear. These are two of the most important task that will remain unresolve as long as he is the owner of the club. So to call him a saviour? Not even close imo.

If he's rich enough to clear our dept, pump in money to invest the team, I'll worship him for the rest of my life. At the moment it's not good enough for me.
 
Right this is seriously pissing me off now, Bolton have landed Braaten and Man City have landed Bojinov. Both could do a job for us when I checked the Everton section of Sky Sports I see Arteta "Worried" about the lack of depth in the squad due to no new arrivals.

This is beyond a joke now. Not only are we not doing anything in the market but our players are unhappy because of it...I can envisage a repeat performance from Everton this season in europe. I understand the fact we need a new stadium and in the long term it will be worth it but at the cost of us not having adequate cover for the squad. I hope BK loosens those purse strings soon.


Rant over...I'll be 'reet in 10 minutes :D

im no mind reader, but i reckon on balance of reading micks posts and his general attitude, he was being sarcastic.

it doesnt always work, because sometimes it can easily be misconstrued.

but im great so thats the up and down of it :D

thats a bit harsh against mick, when i read that first time i read it as "when you lot"

i know for 100% certain pointing the finger at an individual or individuals will guarantee bad feelings and some bad atmosphere.
lets not get too crazy, if some posters have a problem with others let them work it out themselves or with the help of the admins/mods. the board doesnt need certain issues between posters highlighted or dragged up again. 'sleeping dogs' or 'horse trading' behind the scenes.

I actually thought you were being sarcastic in this remark so I really didn't pay much attention to it.

As for signings, we know Everton's M.O. by now so I think it's "realistic" to see two more come in. I'd like a midfielder and a striker. Don't need any more defenders and if I see us linked to another, I'll shoot myself.

Problem is with waiting is that the other clubs know you're in a bit of a pickle and need to bring a few faces in so they'll hold out for top dollar.

Really, really wanted to see Smith here but since that's a no go, I don't know who Moyes has his eyes on.

Either way, I think two more in addition to Jags and Piennar would be sufficient for now.
