How do we stop Van Der Vaart?!

Reading this back, noticed that this actually isn't possible. Embarrassed myself a bit here, sorry lads.
 
I think we've just got to hope our boys can do even better.

On a positive note though, if we're going to concede a goal, I'd rather it be to some piece of VDV excellence than anything else. The man's footie is a thing of beauty to behold.
 

Let him play in the CL. When sides like Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal struggle to keep it right after a CL game two or three days before, lets see Spurs bounce back.

my thoughts exactly. Gerrard was shut down because we had heitinga man-marking him in midfield. it sort of took johnny out of the game but did the same to Gerrard, i thought it was a smart tactic on moyes' part.

i think it'll work well if we do the same against spurs, but i'm more worried about the coleman - bale matchup
