Not good enough.
Zaha scoring isn’t a particularly “Everton that” scenario. The one I dread is Benteke. A former RS striker in a scoring drought? It’s a perfect storm.
That's debatable. I agree there's no need to rush them though.
Cant play a high line with keane as he is slower than an oap, got caught out against leicester when vardy missed a sitter. Not really.
Keane's playing well - very well, in fact.
Davies adds intensity and pressing to the team and Gomes, who I'm very excited about, is not going to bring that to this first PL game, especially after being out injured with a hamstring injury (so really dangerous for high intensity sprints while you're still not at full fitness).
The interesting one could be McCarthy.

So no, he is doing better than last season but he is not great
He isn't slow, but his reactions aren't great for certain. Mina isn't catching him, either. Most defenders get caught out by Vardy, though.
OK, that'll help, but I was thinking about playing competitive football before they get into the firsts. I don't think MS willThey're having a full game behind closed doors this week. They weren't ready for any football at all until this week, mate.
When they have 5 metres headstart? Most defenders get caught out by Vardy, though.
When they have 5 metres headstart?
I don't think thats true. He got done for pace by playing a high line that the manager has instructed him to play. I don't know what you expect him to do in the situation that the ball flies over the top other than what he did when Vardy got through. He kept in touching distance and put him off, causing him to miss the chance. The only other 2 outcomes are he scores because he let him go and didn't put him off or a foul and a red card. He defended well against Leicester and is looking better as the season goes on. I was massively critical of him at the end of last season and the start of this season but he is playing well. And also Vardy is just that quick that he would make most centre backs in this league look slow.Cant play a high line with keane as he is slower than an oap, got caught out against leicester when vardy missed a sitter.

The oh wait kind of gives it away

It was also nowhere near 5 metres at all. If anything they where level but Vardy had a running start.
