Is there really anything to be worried about. The Mighty Blues of Everton compared to ****ty Spurs? Rest assured, the lad will be a Blue. As someone said earlier: "Evertonians are born, nor manufactured, We do not choose, we're chosen."
I'm from a massive family of reds, and most of my mates are reds. He'll find his path if he's one of the cool cats/got masochist tendencies.

Cheers lads. Impressive stuff! I was only away from the forum for a day and I have a ton of replies with some really good suggestions. I don't reckon there is any chance of the lad not being a blue nose now. Strap yerself in Mrs, this could be a bumpy ride
I'm really looking forward to the frustration on my father in laws face when my son turns up at his house in an Everton shirt. I've had the misfortune of going to whl and there is just no atmosphere there at all so I reckon even if he did go there first Goodison would win him over.
Some of the ideas on here are seriously cracking me up but I can see some real genius in them
Oh yeah and thanks Big Nev - always good to see things from a different point of view![]()
Start now. Doesn't matter if he can't understand. It gets throughi am 4th generation blue, and i had no choice in the matter...I was always going to be a blue. Now, 18 months ago I moved to america...2 wks ago my Son was born. My battle is 1) to make sure he likes football over the crappy yankie sports and 2) to make sure he turns out to be the 5th generation blue. My tactics are going to be to drum everton into his head as soon as he is able to understand. I will sit with him and watch dvd's, internet videos, watch the games live with him, get him excited, show him my memorabilia, tell him stories, talk to him about my hero's...and most importantly, that Blue's do not chose, but are chosen.
At the end of the day he is your dad and he will ultimately follow your lead...get him to games as soon as he is old enough...you don't want his first game to be a london team otherwise you might have a harder battle
