£35m is about right. Fans of other teams will probably laugh at that, but there's currently nobody better in the prem, and we'd be selling to a rival, we don't even particularly need the money right now either, and Arsene Wenger is a tit. So £35m.
 

I don't think Arsenal would pay what we value him at. Wenger doesn't like to spend big money players and has just turned down signing Fabregas for £27m. I can't see him spending around that on a defender. He'll get some unknown 'up and coming' European, most likely French player or something. Maybe he'll go in for someone like Debuchy. He wants to leave Newcastle and is French so perfect for Wenger.

Besides, one ought to ask how attractive a proposition it would be for Seamus, marginal I would guesstimate, and it deffo seems as though he feels he's a big part of what Roberto's creating here.
 
If Glen Johnson is worth £17 million and Gareth Bale is worth £85 million then Coleman is worth £120 million easy and i wouldn't sell for a penny less.

Bet Bill would sell him for 32p though.

Not that Seamus would go though. He loves Everton and has a man crush on Greame Jones so couldn't bare to be parted from him, even if it meant turning down a pay rise and winning things.

Even Thiago Silva, widely regarded as the best centre half in the world, only cost £33m. A £35m for Coleman is living purely in dreamland.
 
A guideline of recent players sold and valuations...

Fellaini 28M
Luiz 50M
Bale 80M
Sagna 12 Million (age 31)

So yes I believe he is worth 28/30M and would be surprised if we sell for less as attacking fullbacks are a staple of the way we play and we would not risk losing that balance for a minimal fee.

So Wenger I suggest you look elsewere in one of the budget leagues as we all know you havnt got it in you to bid over 16M TRA...
 
Reminds me of when loads of people were insisting they wouldn't sell Fellaini for less than £30m, then it turns out his release clause was only £23m and he was only sold for £27m because Moyes delayed for so long. Fans often live in denial when it comes to the fee they'd get for their own players.
 
If Real, Barca or PSG were linked with him I might start getting myself used to the idea of him not being here next season.
We have Bobby's word the only sales we make will be for footballing reasons i.e. he thinks we'll be stronger afterwards than before.
Bear in mind how absolutely pivotal the full backs were in the way we played last season.
The simple fact is Coleman is worth more to us than he would be to any other EPL team.
No danger.
