He may have and it's just not been announced yet, but with all the rumours coming from local sources (where he's from I've heard they're a very close-knit community so his parents might have told people) I'm going to say yeah he has signed it!

Did he only just sign a 5 year contract a little while ago? Seems a bit expensive to be giving players new contracts every year.

Shows we reward performance. He certainly achieved more than expected from his last contract. I think it's a good thing because it shows players we're negotiating with and young players that you will be rewarded if you perform.

I agree, his last two extensions have been deserved. I'm just wondering about our wage budget, we offloaded some high earners in the summer but it seems like we have few a young players with high wages negating those sales. Not a bad thing to replace deadwood with young talent who have earned it just thinking about the long term and what it means for potential signings.
