Big call that, finishing in the first three against Altior Min and Douvan

Not really when 2 of them have a huge cloud over them, one will probably be pulled up and he is a Tingle Creek winner so no bad horse anyway who will be suited by the strong pace and not having to make his own running like last time. Fancy him to beat Min anyway.

..I actually backed Rathvinden on 5th February when it was 20-1. I backed Ms Parfois on 1st Feb when that was 20-1. Only coppers on each but it was good to see the neck and neck going to the line not overly bothered who won. I gave Mrs Eggs the winning Exacta slip, £33.

Bit of an interest now with my e/w double on Rathvinden @ 20-1 and one in the Country Hurdle @ 33-1 later this week.

Well done, mate.

Having another go today?

...oh yes. I’ve already got an ante-post portfolio covering every race. I’ll be in the betting shop in half an hour putting my Placepot and forecasts on. 5 straight afternoons in the pub with my pals drinking Guinness, this is my favourite time of the year with Aintree around the corner.
Sound like me, minus sitting in pub drinking guinness, I going tomorrow and can't wait.

Do you find yourself backing the ones that go astray into a different race just in case... I have done Brahma Bull today for that reason as I did it for Potato race.

..absolutely, i backed a few in a number of races. It makes sense to do so with NRNB concession in place for months. I like my portfolio in the Albert Bartlett (Poetic Rhythm 28-1: Calett Mad 40-1; Talkischeap 40-1), just hope they all turn up.

Good win by Samcro. This horse is the next coming.

Intruging Champion Chase in store. IMO the Smart money is on Min. Good EW value on the last 3 horses too if you’re a bit snide.
