Cracking day's racing today. Really looking forward to this race. I'm going for Cyrname although I won't be having a bet.

Good match race that - best horse won. Has to be said that Cyrname at Ascot is an absolute Beast, and I suspect most racing fans would not have been too surprised by that result. Bristol De Mai also beaten at Haydock - wonders never cease!

Cashing out accas is the devil's work.
Back in the day, you would have just had an interest in another one or two in the race as a bit of cover.

....good to see Dolcita win impressively in Ireland, I have it @ 33-1 for the Mares Novice at Cheltenham. It’s now as low as 6-1 in places. I also have Lamarkise @ 33-1 which is even shorter, so hopefully I have that race boxed off but lots can happen between now and then.

My aim is to have 2 or 3 fancied horses in each race at big ante-post prices, it’s a strategy that’s worked well for me in recent years and it’s a bit of fun now I’m retired.
