Only 4 wins from 10 games at home and some absolute dross- yesterday, spurs and Newcastle in particular. Is this Moyes tactics, adapting to the new ground or a bit of both? Personally feel Moyes tactics and team selections are a large part of the problem.

It seems a much bigger pitch than Goodison, feel we’re struggling with the players and the system.

Slow centre backs, the two wide midfielders stuck to the sides of the pitch and isolated with McNeil lost high up the pitch leaving massive gaps in the middle.

Think it would be a different story with Branthwaite and JOB centre backs, two pacey full backs and more of a 433 with three central midfielders filling up the middle of the pitch.
Agree with that mate👍, particularly branth and Job at CB …or even at least one, which is why I’m probably in the ‘put JOB at CB now’ camp even if itmeans NP at right back. It gives us balance and a bit of pace which means we can push up when at home. I’m not too bothered which of Tarks/ Keane gets rested / dropped.

Went tonight, my thoughts are as follows - we are desperate for full backs who can not only defend but can help in attack. When we have Grealish and Ndiaye, our weakness at full back is masked a little because those two are so comfortable on the ball. Obrien may turn into a decent centre half but when he supports.in attack , he looks uncomfortable in possession. With the addition of Armstrong, who looks to have real potential, he can turn and run , which is a rairity in the modern game , our midfield centrelooks ok with Garner, Tim, dewsbury hall and gueye. But we need competition for the wings because we currently have no one behind grealish or ndiaye who we can rely on. Finally, as we all know, a new striker is a priority, doesn't have to be pele, but just someone with half decent touch , fast and has a bit of confidence enough to shoot
