Nobody knows what has gone on. Both clubs are being sensible and keeping stum until the FA get involved. Fans will be fans and will have their say and opinions across social media. The Daily Mirror know better and are using this to sell papers via false claims. I hope Everton, and maybe Liverpool, sue the feckers for it. It is biased to an unheard case.

I don't understand why a section of our fans are hoping that Firmino is found to have been racist. Do we really want to hear that? It's as bad as the redshite fans hoping that Holgate is shown to be a liar.

What I'm hoping in all this is that Holgate misheard Firmino and the incident is amicably resolved by the FA, the players and both clubs. If Firmino is found to have used the n-word, he should suffer all the repercussions that he deserves, and likewise Holgate if it's found that he deliberately lied. I can't abide that this [Poor language removed] still rears its head in 2018.

Regardless of how this pans out, the unbelievable nastiness and abuse dished out from many (not all) Liverpool fans (or should i say victims) the last couple of days has honestly made me sick and proper ashamed to share the same City as them. Many have been an absolute disgrace and embarrassment. I remember a time when Blue and Reds stood together shoulder to shoulder no matter what the instance. Them days seem to be long gone now and a generation of real nasty bitter keyboard warriors has emerged in recent years.
