hoilett

Until we get investment of some format then this situation is not going to change - I honestly didn't bat an eyelid when Hoilett went to QPR, They are ahead of us in the money stakes so I'm actually more surprised when players choose to come here to us to be honest, there's only so long we can remain stagnant before the likes of Leicester and Forest are ahead of us

It makes me sad

Such a shame. I understand it's his profession but he's so talented. He could have gone to play in the fantastic German league and play for a good team in the CL.

He's picked an overspending, relegation dodging joke of a club with a boring, odious drone of a manager in the name of cash and only cash.

I mean he's got his whole career ahead of him. You can understand those moves at 31 but not 21. What a belter.

Gutted about this. Just compounds my hatred for the board all the more. Even if he was just after the money.

Spot on.

Lucien Favre or Mark Hughes? Enough said.

He'll want out next summer just you watch. At 21yrs old having the choice between Champions League Football or Relegation Fodder paying you 80k a week, almost everyone would choose CL. Shows his ambitions as a player.

Don't think any Premiership club in the champions league would have bought him to go into their starting 11. Not even Chelsea would buy him to sit on their bench for 80k a week.

I don't think he'll make a huge impact at QPR. Not that fussed that we missed out. Would like to sign someone though...

Loftus Road is the tiniest pitch in the world, I hope they're thinking of playing him behind the striker 'cause he'll keep running himself into gravel out wide.

80k a week? Really????

Blackburn are due compensation, combine that with his wage demands, no thanks.

According to the Guardian it's £6m compensation. Hoilett is now the 12th striker on their books and only two of those are youth players! They're not a well-run club or team. I can see them really coming unstuck. As for Hoilett, it seems like he's been holding out for a pay day. I'm sure that as soon as we got wind of the overall package we left it well alone.
