allright chops ,not today mate ,as long as he starts v man u mate, it wont be 6 mill ,even if both clubs say it is ,it wont

Where's the money coming from Fox? Do we have it already or will it only be available if/when we sell someone?

I am really undecided on this one. Piennar is a class act would fit straight into our team and you know what he brings. However he is 30 probably get 2 good seasons out him with no resale value. Hoilett is young has pace to burn (something we lack) and has the potential to be a very good player. However I don't think he is as good as piennar at the moment, although he has the potential to do so. In a perfect world we would get both, but piennar seems moyes' preference judging by his comments this week!

its a case of no return with spurs mate ,move him on ,

I'm worried about the longevity really, as he is getting on now, but meh. He's ace and he makes us play good football, so I'll be excited to see the sly little tit in blue for good.

Cheers as ever for the info Foxy.

We cant keep buying ones for the future or taking punts on people who may fit in.

I dont care how old he is to a certain extent. He makes us play, he admits he made a mistake moving and wants to come home.

I do dream of Pienaar on one wing and Donovan on the other.

Resale value?! If those players help us get into Europe or beyond thats worth their resale value alone.

Having Pienaar and Donovan on the wings for 2/3 years buys us time to try find something else, its a quick fix and we know it works.

Getting into the Europa league probably costs you more in the end mate, as it demands a bigger squad and can impact your league performance.

And Pienaar won't get us into the CL. The gap is too big now and bar a major implosion of a top team coinciding with a Newcastle-style, from-the-blue (so to speak) Everton season, we will not make it up.

It's just when I hear £6m I get worried. If it was more like £3m I'd be less worried. Hell, we might even get that for Anichebe.

Agreed it works.
Maybe he can pick up ince or weis on the cheap.
Two good young uns, given a couple of years squad experience and we have ready made replacement wingers without the Hoillett wages.
