Hodgson/Barkley

I don't think Roy is a poor manager, nor do I think he's picking on Ross. I think he's just trying to quell the media hype, which is a good thing for us too.

What I do mind though is that nobody can spell Jack Wilshere's name properly.

I think he is poor mate. For me we should be playing a young team all ways around becuase we have no chance to win it. Roy knows it but will not do it instead he,d rather keep the older players happy and pretend we have a chance we are going to win it.

I,d like to gary neville lead the team selection for this world cup.

I think you'll find though that the player who gave the ball away most v Honduras was Gerrard. His passing in the pre-storm period was absolutely atrocious. Didn't hear Woy having a go at him though.

Agreed, captain marvel i've seen give the ball away in every game for England but i ain't seen Barkley give it away, i've seen him give it away a few times for Everton though

Roy's had enough bullets through the post to start his own munitions store......

......I'd definitely go with Wiltshere as I think he offers more creativity than Henderson. I appreciate we might not want to go gung ho in the first game, but there are 2 aspects of the game - when we've got the ball and when we haven't - and Wiltshere would need to drop in for the latter.

I don't think Hodgson is a bad manager as such, I just think the dynamics of the game have changed, fans don't want to watch defensive football anymore. That kind of football has it's place when say battling relegation. It's not for the upper echelons of teams. Fans expect attacking/possession/counter attack whichever but it has to be exciting.
Fans expect winning, above all. If style was that important Mourinho would never get a job.

Playing attacking football seems to allow a struggling manager a bit more time than a defensive one, that's about it.

I tell you right now not many England fans are expecting to win a bloody corner this summer mate.
