Well he played 90 minutes which I think is what Moyes was most worried about.

Honestly, we could have Buffon on the bench and Howard would still be picked. I have no idea why everyone always blames Mucha. Sub keepers by nature are never at too high a standard, spurs aside Mucha's at the same level as most bench warmers are.

Plus he was free, it's not like Bily where he was our entire budget for attacking players for three years.

I've been trying to wipe Bily from my memory, it's less depressing if you imagine we got Gibson and Jelavic with that money in the first place.

He's a good player and is very tidy and technical in the central midfield area, exactly what we need, hoping he carries on proving his fitness with maybe another couple reserve games and get him fit and sign him up.

I sort of see what you mean. He's not a world beater, but will provide more than adequate cover for midfield, and I believe he's got a cracking shot on him too.
