Hibbert & Osman

We really can't afford to get rid of anyone to be honest, we simply don't have the case to replace players like Leon Osman and Tony Hibbert. They cost us nothing and whilst there not perfect they are certainly useful and have proved that during there time here.

Castillo, Jo, Jacobsen, Valente and Van der Meyde could all potentially leave in the summer, we'll have our work cut out replacing these players and getting to squad to a certain size.

We can improve on them though and I'm sure we will. Neville will probably play right back ahead of Hibbert next season, Osman will hopefully be replaced and Cahill will play in midfield with Mikel.

Sensible, mate. 100% correct.

Louis didnt turn up today for whatever reason . I love Saha he is obviously great but will he ever love Everton ? I wish he would .

Shay Given dishing out slaps ? At the risk of sounding like abit of s**thouse i think he should have gone .

It's at times like this, that I really value your input. Think your spot on once again.

Louis was fine today to be honest, held the ball up well and worked with what he had. You can't expect strikers to score goals if the service there getting is a chip into the channel. Him and Fellaini spent most of there time challenging for headers.

The problem is in the midfield, the lack of creativity is painful at times. Players like Jo, Fellaini and Saha are not the problem. They can only work with what they've got.

The sooner the better, its time people stopped praising this ungifted player..he needs to be moved on or at the very least made into a squad player who only comes on against crap teams of this world.

I honestly cannot for the life of me understand why anyone can actually say Ossie is good or gifted.. I am sure he would be in the championship, which imo is his actual level. Some players are just not cut out for the premiership, he has come through adversity yes, and he might be a blue, but that should not automatically grant him a place in the team. The priority for a number of years now as been the right wing. How can Moyse even think Ossie should be playing there??

He is blown over by the wind most times, gets skinned by moderatly good premiership players, his passing at most times is embarrassing to say the least. We need to really move on and improve on Ossie, he served his time here, we are a team that is progressing, we cant progress if we have proliferal players like Osman in the team.

I just hope and pray you are right and he is moved on or at least made into nothing more than a squad player, but I have my doubts because Moyse has a habit of playing players who really shouldnt even be in the team when they are performing badly. Would he sacrifice neville for a better player? hardly.

Who he slap mate? I take it, it was down the Park End. All the fighting was down that end, couldnt really make out what was going on from the GSE.

Hats off by the way to the Park End grannys, they gave a shift today.

100% agree with this post absolutely spot on

from what I saw given jawed him right in front of the ref who was watching..that he was never sent off for that foul because its the letter of the law..he punched him straight in the gob..and the ref told them to play on 0.o It was by the letter of the law a sending off. But I honestly thought Wiley made a number of errors today and not just for us either.

Osman proved last season that he is far from a Championship player to be honest, when he was given a run of games in his natural position he was a breath of fresh air and we played our best football. He does a good job there and is consistent. Those who judge him fairly would've see this, those who can't see past the hate won't.

Outwide he is frustrating, he doesn't suit the role and naturally struggles. That's what happens when you play a centre midfielder on the wing, especially one that lacks pace and strength.

I have no problem with people saying he needs to be replaced, there's no doubting that and I hope that is the case next season. People who he's a Championship player simply haven't got a clue.

Gosling chased the ball, Given just got it but Gosling stuck a leg out trying to kick the ball. Dont think he even touched Given but Given thought he did and pushed his forearm into Goslings throat.

Given slapped Gosling I think it was after he went for the ball after closing the keeper down . Dnagerous play is dangerous play and if Felly did that he would have gone no doubt . We were absoluetly awful today . I am still livid now writing this . I know I should be happy with what is around the corner but I cannot help feeling p****d off .

why does he perform against poor teams better than he does against better teams where he always goes missing? that to me tells me he isnt cut out for his role.
