Gardiner was just an end of season loan, not a time specific one. I think.
 

So whats the deal with getting hi ofr six months as apposed to the end of the season, maybe thats the only way Valencia would let him leave, seems strange that we pay him for a month and a half in the close season, doesnt really make finacial sense!

Were basically paying him up until pre season starts, wherever that may be for manny

The everton website on his profile states 6mths. He signed 11/01 so that takes him to middle July
 
Because we havent yet decided that Fernandes is leaving. The club decided that Gardner wouldnt be considered to join permanently.
 

Maybe no one bothered taking his profile down cause he might be back and it saves putting it back up again if he does rejoin.

Doubt there's more to it than that.
